Mina is a folklore researcher based in Noblesville, Indiana. From an early age, she’s been drawn to storytelling and different cultures. A born-and-raised Hoosier, Mina became especially intrigued by the folklore and culture just beyond her own backyard—often tucked away like secrets in small towns and long-remembered stories that are shared again and again.
Through her work, she explores the voices and values that continue to shape Indiana’s identity. By gathering and documenting the stories people tell, the customs they keep, and the history that connects them, she traces how the past remains present. She believes folklore is not only about what happened, but also very much about what we choose to preserve, repeat, and pass along.
She is passionate about sharing her love and knowledge of the Hoosier State and helping others discover what makes Indiana so unique. Her approach is one of curiosity, but also care and respect for the people and communities behind the stories.
